About us

Solaurius is being created as a new kind of healing and longevity centre — a place where ancient wisdom, natural therapies and modern wellness technology come together under one clear purpose: to help people recover, regulate, rebuild and return to themselves.

Our vision is rooted in the original spirit of the World Healing Centre: compassion, service, community and access to healing. Solaurius honours that foundation while taking the centre into its next chapter — upgrading the space, expanding the therapies and creating a structured environment for deeper wellbeing.

The name Solaurius means “The Golden Sun” — a symbol of light, renewal, vitality and transformation. It represents the journey from depletion back into energy, from disconnection back into wholeness, and from survival into a more conscious way of living.

At Solaurius, we believe healing is not one single treatment. It is a complete environment. That is why our model brings together therapies such as light and circadian therapy, sound therapy, cryotherapy, sauna, breathwork, meditation, nutrition, acupuncture, kinesiology, vibration therapy and other restorative practices.

Our aim is to create a safe, grounded and inspiring sanctuary where people can access support for the body, mind, energy and spirit — while becoming part of a wider community built on trust, growth and shared purpose.

Solaurius is not just a centre.

It is a movement towards a more balanced, conscious and healthier future.

about us

Mandus House, The World Healing Centre & The Future of Solaurius

At 476 Lytham Road, Blackpool, stands a building with a story far greater than bricks and mortar.

Known by many as Mandus House and home to The World Healing Centre, this address has carried a deep spiritual, charitable, and community purpose for many years. The World Healing Centre is a registered charity, charity number 1170377, based at 476 Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY4 1JF. Its charitable purpose has included prayer healing, wellbeing, spiritual support, community use, and the restoration and protection of its historic building for the benefit of all who use it.

The centre’s roots are connected to Mandus Nyquist, often known as Brother Mandus, whose work helped establish a healing movement with local, national, and international reach. Public fundraising information describes the charity as having been founded in the 1950s by Mandus Nyquist, with many services offered freely, including mindfulness, meditation, spiritual teachings, yoga, arts and crafts, singing, and community lunches.

Mandus House is more than a building. It is a symbol of service, prayer, sanctuary, community, and hope.

He was an internationally renowned Healer, gave Healing demonstrations to thousands, and authored several books on Spiritual Healing.

Nowadays he’d be called an ‘activist’ as he worked tirelessly both as a Healer, and as a public figure raising awareness of Healing. He had the vision of Healing becoming a significant component of public healthcare and always intended Healers and Doctors to work together.
